Billy Miller is an artificer/curator/independent publisher and former VP of the Bob Mizer Foundation, based in New York City. His work has been exhibited internationally at various galleries and cultural institutions, including P.S.1 MoMA, Andrew Edlin Gallery, D’Amelio Terras Gallery, Team Gallery, Cheim & Read, Feature, Deitch Projects, Galerie du Jour Agnès B., Hatch Art, the State Museum of Pennsylvania, College for Creative Studies Detroit, and others. He has curated shows and events at CANADA Gallery, The Center for Book Arts NYC, Invisible Exports, Anna Kustera Gallery, Elaine Jacob Gallery, Exile Gallery Berlin, 80WSE Gallery NYC, Artists' Television Access - SF, and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, among others. He appears in the Netflix doc “Circus of Books” from director Rachel Mason and as narrator in Adam Baran’s mini-doc “Trade Center” and as a contributor to the doc “99%: The Occupy Wall Street Collaborative Film”. His writing has appeared in publications such as VICE, Index, WON, K48, The Huffington Post, BUTT, and Catherine Lord and Richard Meyer’s compendium “Art & Queer Culture”. And he is the editor-publisher of a number of independent publications, including When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again, No Milk Today, the Pictures & Words book series, and the Straight to Hell chapbook series (aka, The Manhattan Review of Unnatural Acts)
